Which Ford F-150 trim is the right choice for you? We help you decide!

At Family Ford, the Ford F-150 is one of our most well-stocked models. Shoppers love it for its strong performance, convenience and safety features, and all-American roots. The 2019 Ford F-150 is available in several trims — XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, and Raptor — and we'll break down the different groups to help you find the ideal trims for your driving needs.

Entry-Level Options

If you're looking for a work truck, are watching your budget, or simply enjoy vehicles that aren't packed to the gills with too many technologies, go with either the XL or the XLT trims. Both trims have cloth seats, though there are optional, easy-to-clean vinyl seats on the XL. The XLT brings a little more pizzazz to the table, thanks to more chrome exterior accents and available tech packages. We do like that forward collision warning with emergency braking is standard on all Ford F-150 trims, though!

Balance Features With Affordability

Want to start crossing over to the premium side of things? Then you'll love the Lariat. It includes the Luxury 302A group that you can get on the XLT trim, and this means you'll get a lovely panoramic sunroof, keyless entry and go, and leather seats. You can add on even more features, such as LED lights, a premium 11-speaker audio system, and advanced safety features, like a surround-view camera and adaptive cruise control.

Feeling Fancy?

For all-out luxury, go with the Platinum or Limited. The Platinum has showy 20-inch wheels, wood and aluminum trim, and power running boards that make entering and exiting a lot easier. The Limited takes its all home with premium leather seats, Active Motion® massage settings for long drives, and a stylish twin-panel moonroof.

Of course, we haven't forgotten the special interest models, which are the King Ranch and the Raptor. As you might have guessed, the King Ranch has a western-theme and it comes with a burly 5.7L V8 engine. The Raptor is the off-road-friendly Ford F-150, and it has a 3.5L EcoBoost engine with 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft torque, FOX shocks, big all-terrain wheels, and some seriously aggressive styling.

At our dealership we aim to carry a mix of trims so we can work with all budgets and shopper needs. Visit us today to check out our selection, go on a test drive, and then hopefully leave with a great and powerful truck!
