2025 Ford Expedition in Netcong, NJ

The 2025 Ford Expedition offers a full-size SUV experience with spacious seating, strong capabilities, and modern features designed for families, towing, and long drives around Netcong. The redesign for this year brings fresh styling, upgraded tech, and improved flexibility both inside and out.

Interior

The cabin of the 2025 Expedition is crafted for comfort and adaptability. Seating is available for seven or eight passengers depending on configuration, with bench seating or optional second-row captain’s chairs which improve access to the third row. Driver and front passenger seats come with multiple power adjustments; higher trims include memory settings and premium materials. All three rows offer generous legroom and headroom, making longer trips more comfortable. The third-row seats fold flat to expand cargo space when needed.

Technology inside supports convenience and connectivity. The Expedition features a large center-stack touchscreen paired with a wide panoramic instrument display for driver information. Voice-activated controls, wireless smartphone mirroring, and multiple USB ports are standard, with optional wireless charging in higher grades. Additional interior touches include a flexible powered center console that can slide to improve second-row access or reveal hidden storage, numerous cup and bottle holders, a large number of power outlets, carpeted mats or heavy-duty flooring depending on use, and ambient lighting to enhance the cabin atmosphere. For climate control, there is tri-zone automatic control so occupants across rows can set different comfort zones.

Exterior

The 2025 Ford Expedition’s exterior has been refreshed with updated grille styling, refined headlight and taillight designs, and new wheel options. The body is available in a standard and an extended (“MAX”) version, offering more cargo length and a bit more room for gear behind the third row. Trim-based appearance options provide contrast color accents, darker finishes or bright trim, and special off-road styling cues on the Tremor model. Running boards or side steps help with entering and exiting the vehicle, especially in taller configurations.

New outside design features include the Split Gate rear access, where the rear opens with an upper liftgate portion and a lower tailgate portion, aiding loading ease. Exterior lighting includes LED headlamps and taillamps, available auto high beams, and in select trims a zone lighting system that illuminates around the vehicle for better visibility at night. Mirrors are available with power adjustment, heating, and integrated turn signals. Roof rails are included or optional depending on trim, useful for carrying extra cargo or roof-mounted accessories.

Performance

The Expedition is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces strong output suitable for towing, highway driving, and hauling. Transmission is a 10-speed automatic, helping deliver smooth shifts across a range of speeds and load conditions. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while four-wheel drive is offered in trims that also include off-road oriented features. On off-road capable versions, the suspension tuning is enhanced, ground clearance is increased, and underbody protection is added. Available trail-mode functions adjust performance parameters for traction, stability, and control on rougher terrain or slippery roads.

Towing accessories and assistance technologies are integrated, such as Trailer Backup Assist, Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, and towing-related monitor screens in the instrument cluster. Payload and towing capacities depend on configuration, body length, drivetrain and trim, and are meant to support both recreational towing and work needs. Ride comfort is improved with upgraded sound insulation and suspension dampening, helping reduce noise, vibration, and harshness on highways or during long journeys.

Safety Features

The 2025 Ford Expedition incorporates a broad suite of safety and driver-assist systems. Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking (with pedestrian detection), lane keeping system, blind spot monitoring with cross traffic alert, and rear view camera. Parking sensors front and rear are included on many trims to assist with maneuvering in tight spaces. The Safety Canopy® airs-in-roof system provides side-curtain airbags for occupants in all three rows.

On higher trim levels or optional packages, additional features are available such as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, lane centering, high-definition 360-degree camera views to help with visibility around the vehicle, trailer coverage for blind spots, and a driver attention alert system. The body structure is reinforced with high strength steel and precise crash management features, helping protect occupants in various impact scenarios. Exterior lighting features such as auto high-beams improve visibility for both driver and others on the road. Together, these safety technologies aim to give passengers and driver more confidence whether facing urban streets, highways, or challenging road conditions around Netcong.
